Terms of Use
Summary: miLife is a personal memory tool. You own everything you put into it. We provide the software; you are responsible for keeping your password safe and your device secure. If you lose your password, your data cannot be recovered.
01 Acceptance
By downloading, installing, or using miLife, or by visiting milife.lpagesapplabs.com, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app or website.
02 License
LPagesAppLabs grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use miLife for personal, non-commercial purposes. The app's source code, design, branding, and format specification remain the property of LPagesAppLabs / D.Badi.
Your personal content (memories, moments, attachments) remains entirely yours. We claim no rights to your data.
03 Your Password — Critical Responsibility
If you forget your password, your data cannot be recovered — by you or by us. The encryption is intentionally designed this way. There is no "forgot password" option, no master key, no backdoor. Choose a password you will remember. Use a trusted password manager. Make backups of your .life archive in a location you control.
LPagesAppLabs accepts no liability for data loss resulting from a forgotten or lost password.
04 Prohibited Uses
You may not:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
- Use the app to store data that violates applicable law
- Redistribute or resell the app
- Attempt to break or circumvent the encryption mechanisms
- Remove or obscure copyright or attribution notices
05 Data Backup — Your Responsibility
miLife stores data locally on your device. We recommend:
- Exporting your
.lifearchive regularly using the in-app export function - Storing archive copies in multiple secure locations (external drive, trusted cloud storage)
- Testing your archive restore process before you need it
LPagesAppLabs is not responsible for data loss due to device failure, accidental deletion, or OS-level data erasure.
06 Disclaimer of Warranties
miLife is provided "as is" without any warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from defects. Your use of the app is at your own risk.
07 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LPagesAppLabs / D.Badi shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, miLife. This includes, without limitation, any loss of personal data or memories. Our maximum aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months preceding the claim.
08 Updates and Continuity
We may release app updates, new versions of the .life format, or changes to features. We will provide migration tools when the .life format version changes. We will give reasonable notice before discontinuing any major feature.
09 Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Romania (EU), without prejudice to your rights as a consumer under your local law.
10 Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms. The effective date above will be updated. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify you of material changes through the app when possible.
